~It’s a Small World After All~
I am always amazed at the countries represented on my site meter log.
Romania, Greece, Australia, Vietnam, Cyprus, Russia, Senegal, Canada and the international list goes on. I would love for the person from Mytilni to introduce themselves. My paternal grandparents came from the island of Chios, just next door.

My husband, who is a Greek soldier, was station in Chios for about 7 years before we got married. It is a beautiful place. We hope to visit the week after Easter. Hi Irene,
Efkaristo for you sweet words, It is really nice to “meet” you. It sounds like we have a lot in common. I will most definitely keep you in my prayers for a baby. Which monastery are you going to visit in Chios? My Yia Yia wanted to be a nun at Ag. Menas. I have been back to Chios a few times and enjoyed visiting Neo Moni and Ag. Menas. My family is from Kataraktis, at the southern end of Chios. Fr. and I have a friend in Mytilini, Fr. Ermolios. I am glad you are enjoying my blog. I am sure you know the Saints to pray for with help in conceiving. St. Irene C. helped me a lot! I visited the monastery in NYC and the nuns gave me the blessed apples and the zoni- do you have these? If you like, we would love to have you be apart of our online community at http://www.orthodoxchat.com. There is a whole section there for help and support for conception. :sunny:
With love in Christ,
