Random thoughts…
Today is HUGE! I am thrilled that I will never again have to smell smoke in a restaurant or any other public place. Whoohoo! No more smoking in public! I will never have again have an asthma attack, stinky hair or stinky clothes due to second hand smoke and the best of all our children will never again have to smell that stinking stuff and their little lungs will be protected. YAY!! Glory be to God and the voters of Ohio!
In Maria~Angelica news…she is walking like crazy and it is just the cutest thing. Some nights she doesn’t want to go to bed, she just wants to walk circles around the house, in one room and out of another. She says “dis” (this), mainly when she wakes up and is tugging at my shirt to nurse, again just the cutest thing ever. She says, “Mom“, just like the boys do and she loves to blow kisses, and sing, most of her lyrics consist of variations of “weeeeee”. She also likes to click her tongue in affirmation of something. I haven’t quite figured this one out, but it is sweet the way she communicates and looks you straight in the eye while clicking her little tongue, she is clearly trying to tell me something. She also loves to eat and enjoys, scrambled eggs, peanut butter sandwiches, cheese, soup, just about anything you offer her. She is a lot like Jonah that way.
Nicholas’ name day went really well at school yesterday. More on that later, with pictures. Today is a snow day and I am taking the boys for haircuts and new shoes in preparation for their Christmas program at school and their first piano recital on Saturday.

You have snow….I am jealous!!
I cannot believe the midwest is getting snow and we are not up in the Northeast. Enjoy your snow day! Make an extra snow angel for us!
Woohoo! We have no smoking here too. Every place should be like that. :sunny:
Maria~Angelica is so adorable. Wish we could see a video. :heartbeat:
We do have an anti-smoke law as well over here…it’s such a blessing ! There isn’t anything that annoys me more than eating next to someone who is smoking…eeeeww.
She is adorable! I love your descriptions of her – I just want to give her a great big hug and kiss! :heartbeat:
Congrats to Maria Angelica! Timothy used to cluck too. His way of telling me he was awake and ready to come downstairs was to stand at the top in front of the gate and cluck really loud. The strange thing was how loud it was. Odd talents that child has. Your wee one sounds so sweet. Good for you for continuing to nurse her. Blessed baby she is.
No smoking! It’s a dream I have. At least I don’t have to smell drying tobacco anymore now that the old warehouses are remodeled into overpriced condos and offices. :sunny: As for the clucking…Gabriel never did that. He did whack me in the head with his stuffed animals though. :giggle:
Snow day. Enjoy it and send some snow down to Tennessee.
I really enjoyed the latest Maria-Angelica news. So precious.
Yeah! No more smoking. :goodjob:
I stumbled upon your blog through the blogring. Very sweet blog. Though my children are all grown, I still remember those toddler days!
I’m soo jealous of your lack of smoke!!
Im VERY excited about the smoking thing too! I quit smoking when I was 23, and I have bad allergic reactions when Im exposed to it now.
M-A is SOOO cute!
That house is maybe 45 minutes from us. The price really CANT be beat. Im really tempted to go and see it. I know we wouldnt buy it though…its in the city and we are pretty set on getting a home with a couple acres for our garden…and maybe some animals. :giggle::goodjob:
Oh..and I did want to commend you for still nursing her!!!! :goodjob: :sunny:
We did not have snow. Not even a real dusting, and it is gone, now. My kids were hoping we would. I AM ECSTATIC ABOUT THE SMOKING BAN!!!! It remains to be seen how this will be enforced in our county. The local free weekly paper here is so pro-smoking that I can’t stand it. Their articles about it are so mournful while the rest of us are celebrating! Great update on M~A, too!
