Earlier today Jonah announced , “I love school.”
Then tonight while he was hugging me goodnight he said, “I don’t know why, but I really love school.”

In the morning we are going , as a church group, for a pilgrimage to St. Gregory Palamas Monastery. Pray for our safe travels!

Lisa the pics of your kids going to school every year give me happy tears! I would LOVE to have a school like that near us! Makes me want to go back to school!
Oh well…. I guess you take what you can get when you live in the boonies.

I love that he loves school! It makes me feel all warm and squishy inside, especially after meeting students who really think there is nothing more for them than the life on this side of town that they currently lead. Good school experiences should be a right for all children.
