~First day of school!~It’s official! We are the parents of a kindergartner, a first grader and a third grader! Boy has the time flown by since we had 3 boys, in 3 years, all in diapers!
Jonah- 5, Nicholas-6 and Basil-8This picture reminds me a lot of my dad and his two younger brothers, when they were this age.I love these two shots because of the way Jonah is looking at his brothers. He’s part of the big kids now!
Jonah in his brand new kindergarten room and his brand new cubby!
Nicholas and Dean, our two little first graders! Best friends forever!
My other favorite kindergartner; my goddaughter, Angelika! (Dean’s sister and my best friend’s dd.) It is so wonderful that Jonah and Nicholas both have good family friends and fellow Orthodox Christians in their classes. So special!
Nicholas at his first grade desk.
The first grade class. Basil had the same teacher and she is just the sweetest, most loveliest lady! She very much reminds me of ma from Little House on the Prairie.
Basil’s very grown up third grade class, getting right down to business! The first grade teacher and the third grade teacher are sisters. The are the most loving , jovial and wise teachers I have ever met! I am so grateful that our children are in such loving, caring and capable hands of these precious Christian ladies!
Fr. and Maria~Angelica in front of Basil’s cubby. The are all so thrilled to have cubbies and for the 6-12 grades lockers!

The end of Jonah’s first day of kindergarten.
Nicholas and Dean
The first convocation in the new school!
Basil and his classmates signing a hymn.
The Rhetoric students studying in St. Andrew’s hall.
And of course you didn’t think I could end a post without a nice picture of little Maria~Angelica on the BIG day! We can’t leave her out.
(Ashlee, that’s for you!

Lisa how exciting!!! I still remember the pictures of Nicholas in his kindergarten room last year…it brought tears to my eyes. What a big first grader you have!!! And your sweet Jonah in Kindergarten…I sure understand the feelings you are having about that now! ; ) And Basil looks so big lately!! I love the picture of the boys hugging. What a blessing that you have such a wonderful school for your children to be involved in!

I love your front porch! It is so welcoming. And, those pictures of your dear little ones takes one back to a time long ago when children went to school neatly dressed and well behaved. You have a lovely family. I am sure you feel very blessed. :sunny:
The boys are gorgeous, as usual. They’re so neat and sharp looking. I love the front porch too – we don’t have porches in AZ.
Great pictures! I really like the school uniforms!
What beautiful pictures! And such a lovely front porch!! I wanna come sit on it, read a book and have some tea, it looks so inviting!!
Thanks for sharing those pictures! How incredibly sweet!!! What school are they at now? They are not at the classical school anymore?
Thanks everyone.
Kh. Michele, this is the same Classical school, they just built their own building . Up to now the school was renting space from a Church.
