I am still a little traumatized from putting little Maria~Angelica through all that. She seems to have adjusted better than me. All I can think about is Lazaros (aged 5) and Gigi (8 months) whose lives ended at Children’s hospital. Fr. was by their sides when they passed away. They weren’t our children but we still feel the pain and loss of their parents as much as you can when you aren’t the actual parents.
Pray for all the parents of seriously ill children. LORD HAVE MERCY!
Reports cards came today! Good news all around! Basil made all As and one B. Nicholas had all Os for outstanding. Both boys had great remarks from their teachers too! We are so blessed to have such dedicated and Christian teachers of our precious children! We are VERY grateful to have a Classical and Christian school nearby.
GLORY BE TO GOD!

Pass along ‘atta boys!’ to your beautiful boys for their grades! I’m sure you are very proud!
Jennie said you guys had a chance to chat and how touched she was by your call….. how sweet of you to call her! Can you believe everything going on with them??? I need to get myself down there so I can get my hands on that little boy!
Lisa comes home tomorrow as well! Praise God for children!!
Really sad about Lazaros and Gigi. It would be so hard to see, even not being the parents. :(
What hard little workers your boys are. I didn’t know they were at a Classical Christian school! That’s great!
OH ick! I had that same proceedure done. Poor little one!!! Glad it’s over and she’s recovering. Hope Mommy’s heart heals soon from it all too. It is sad to know there are so many little one’s so sick in children’s hospitals every where.
Give your boys a great big High Five from our clan!!! Way to go on those grades!!! :goodjob:
So great to talk to talk to you yesterday! It was such a treat! Prayers to you for little Maria-Angelica…
Thank you all for your support; I feel badly and guilty for putting my little baby through all that. Her little hands and feet are all bruised from where they tried to put in her IV; thankfully she was asleep when they tried. I am feeling sad about the whole thing.
Her little throat still sounds sore even this evening.
I am sad she had to go through that, too! My she is such a trooper, though. I know you are giving her extra loving to help her heal. :heartbeat: C was preemie, and that was so hard for us. But not as hard as what some others go through. Then I had to take her back for some kind of infusion treatment, and that was the hardest of all. She had to be there all day with IV’s etc. I could nurse her, but they would not let me be in the room when they put in the IV. Pray also for baby Will, as he is in the process of chemo before the bone marrow transplant.
re: your comment: We took E out for ice cream at Graeter’s, her favorite ice cream shop. I know she just loved doing this, and she did very well. I wish we could have gotten better video and pictures. I will post some, though! Bring on the pics of Basil! Congratulations on the good grades, too!
