Maria~Angelica is full member of the Church now! Our new little Orthodox Christian! Thank you all for your prayers; everything was really wonderful and I hope to post some pictures soon.
“As many of you as have been Baptized into Christ, have put on Christ. Alleluia” (Gal 3:27)

Here is some video I took on my digital camera. Right before the baptism my video camera stopped working; so I only have video with no sound and for some reason the most important video clip, of Maria~Angelica actually being baptized, is turned the wrong way. Does anyone know how to fix that? I have tried to edit it but nothing works.

Thank you Lisa, I hope to give some commentary so you know what is happening and why. You can click on the link from Galatians to about Orthodox Baptism. My first cousins, Betsy and Sandra are Maria~Angelica’s godmothers; aren’t they pretty? The are so cute and petite. The boys were so cute at the baptism, all the dc were. Jonah was so funny, you can see that wax dripped on his hand in that last video when they are walking around the baptism font. We had a great day. You can read more about it here.

We do infant baptisms in our church as well and Pastor and I were just discussing this. I alway wonder how those that argue against IB “know” that an infant can’t understand. Like my Pastor said, “This isn’t just information were are given, It’s the Word of God!”
