On Humbleness and Patience
“Sometimes God allows for a relative or a fellow worker to cause us problems in order to exercise our patience and humbleness; however, instead of being grateful for the chance God gives us, we react and refuse to be cured. It is like refusing to pay the doctor who is giving us a shot when we are ill.”

I love Elder Paisios.
It is amazing how his words just ring so true at every turn. This last quote just brought everything home about what has been going on at our Church these past few weeks. I pray that we are patient and humbled by everything to the good of our souls and our local church community.
I always try to look at challenges with people as simply tests from God. Makes it a lot easier!
:sunny:That’s why I don’t go to the doctor. :sunny:
Guilty!
Is that what that is all about? I guess I need to start paying more attention… :giggle:
