  • Jonah aged 4 lost his first tooth tonight!! He was so cute when he came and told us. First of all he looked like he was going to cry, he had a little blood on his lip and I thought at first he had fallen. Then he said, “I was just going to the potty and my tooth fell out.”  And we got all excited and he still looked like he was starting to cry. Fr. hugged him and said “what’s wrong?”  Jonah said, “It just fell out and dropped on the floor and I don’t have it.” He was so sad!  I told him not to worry that Nicholas swallowed his first two teeth! That cheered him up a bit and now Fr. is off to put money under his pillow.  Jonah is so sweet….. We have a lot of toothless people in the house! We were laughing with the boys that when the baby comes she will be toothless too!

This morning  in Church Fr. was talking to the children. I didn’t think Jonah was paying any attention. I was in the fifth or six row with all the other children in front of us.

So Fr. is talking about how there is so much to learn about the faith and that even he doesn’t know everything there is to know about the faith.

Where upon Jonah turns to me and says,

“Yes he does! He is just teasing!!”

I guess every child likes to think his father knows everything!!

  • that is so cute when they think we still know everything  :) There have been a lot of loose teeth around here too, poor nicholas though thinks it’s not fair that his aren’t falling out yet  :giggle:

  • Everytime I see your blog moved to the top of the blogring list, I think it’s an update and your baby girl. I’m chomping at the bit, Lisa! Can’t wait to hear about her arrival.

    Cute story about Jonah….

  • Jonah is so cute! I can’t wait till you have your baby. Remember, I was immobile for the last 4 weeks of my pg, too. I wish I had let them induce at 38 wks in hindsight, but I too wanted the experience of going into labor “naturally”. I am not convinced my body knows how to do it either, since I was like almost 5cm, and 80-90 effaced and STILL needed pitocin!!
I am praying for you. I can’t imagine having 4 kids and being in that much pain.

  • Thank you! You all are really cheering me up! Sorry to dissapoint about the baby!   She WILL have to be born eventually though!  I will find out more today I go to the dr. in a little bit. Keep us in your prayers. Church was so peaceful yesterday and I am hoping and praying it stays that way for a long time. :heartbeat:
