We had a bit of a scare, with the baby, early this morning about 6:00 am. Called the doctor on call and went straight to the office, after dropping Basil and Nicholas off at school. In the car this morning we prayed the morning prayers and the boys were so prayerful and attentive. At the doctor’s Jonah was very sweet and patient while they put me on the heart monitor for about an hour and all is fine with the baby. . Thanks be to God!

Thanksgiving after deliverance from trouble

Almighty and merciful God, I most humbly and heartily thank Your divine majesty for Your loving kindness and tender mercies, that You have heard my humble prayer, and graciously vouchsafed to deliver me from my trouble and misery. Grant me, I beseech You, Your helping grace, that I may obediently walk in Your holy commandments, and lead a sober, righteous and godly life, ever remembering Your mercies, and the blessings You have undeservedly bestowed upon me, that I may continually offer to You the sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving, O Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Oh, Lisa. I’m so sorry about the scare. I rejoice with you that the baby and you are both fine!!! I pray your remaining time passes quickly so you can hold your little girl in your arms.
