  • I haven’t blogged in few days. I haven’t been feeling too well lately. We did take the boys up to our church festival for a few hours today. They had a blast in the children’s section and then they sat for an hour enjoying Pavlo.   Pavlo was fantastic!!

I was able to work in our Church bookstore from 12-2 and then again from 5-8:30. I love talking to people about the Church and Orthodox Christianity.  The crowds were great and so many people came for the Church tours. We gave out so much literature that I ran out of flyers. There are so many interesting people out there with so many questions.

Here is a look at the festival schedule.

  • The G-OC church near us has a festival every year as well. We always seem to miss it for one reason or another. Maybe we can make it this year ((if we haven’t missed it already  )). I’d love to see an iconography demo.

  • That is really neat – I want to look and see if we have one in our area….

  • Wish we couldve gone. You are the perfect person to talk about the Church and Orthodoxy, you are definitely gifted there!!  :goodjob: Sorry to hear you havent been feeling too good.  Are you in your 3rd trimester now???  Lisa said to tell you and Fr “Hi”, and your parents “Hi”.   :)  She thinks about all of you all the time!  I think she wants to be adopted.   :giggle:  I hope next year we can come down for the festival…..unless we are expecting another little one, I think we will.

  • Thank you Alana! We just got back from the festival. It was so nice and everyone did such a good job. I was able to work in the Church again for a few hours. It is so nice to watch people’s reactions to the Church and to hear their questions. I especially enjoy the children and their reactions to seeing candles and icons for the first time.   Alana that would be great if you could come down one year. In fact you are all invited! :) My parents read my blog so they will see your greetings from Lisa!

  • The festival sounds like fun.  Very similar to the one here.  I hope you feel better soon.  How much longer before she’s here?

  • “Are you in your 3rd trimester now???  “

“How much longer before she’s here?”

LOL! They only way I know the answers to these questions is to look at the bottom of my blog!   According to the ticker I am in my 28th week and I have  11 more weeks to go!!  It is funny how with my first two pregnancies I kept a detailed daily diary of everything and  now I have to look on the computer to see how pregnant I am !  :giggle:
