  • Hello everyone I missed you guys. This is a cross post from the www.orthodoxchat.com messge board.  I thought  I would just cut and paste here to fill ya’ all in. Hope everyone is well.

We have had a busy week since returning. We were all really tired and just needed to catch up on our sleep. I have a sore throat, stuffy nose and an earache. I just want to rest.

Monday morning though the boys had day camp and I had a doctor’s appt.
I went in there with questions about my leg ,that comes out of the joint  making it very hard and painful to walk and the vulvar varicosity that hurts so much. I came out with iron pills and appt for a 3 hours glucose test!! Rolling Eyes

I had no idea my blood levels were so low and I was not expecting to have to go for another glucose test. I don’t have the results yet but it was very hard to be at the lab at 8 am and stay there for 3 hours. I do have the best husband in the world and he is making it as easy as he possibly can on me and making sure I am able to lay down and rest.

I so hope I can enjoy this pregnancy before it ends…. it may be my last, only God knows.

I am hoping after I go to the PT on Tuesday for my leg that I will be able to walk. The vein thing I am still waiting to hear back from the doc. I showed her the Rutin a friend from  www.MOMYS.com recommended and I have a V2 support belt but that doesn’t stop it all the time.

Also this week we had to get a plumber out here to unclog our kitchen sink and a PC guy to tell us that yes indeed we have lost our mother board on our 2 year old dell. Fr. bought a reasonably priced HP desk top and then we discovered the storm had also blown out our cable modem. Two cable guys later that is now fixed as well. It has been a costly week with too many repair men keeping me from my afternoon nap!! Wink

On an up note I decided to join Fr. and the boys at the movies and we just got back from “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” The kids were happy I came with them as they have only seen me in bed or coming and going from the doctor’s this week.

So it is good to be back. I don’t know how often I will be on though. It is hard to sit for too long. I feel better when I am laying down. Oh the doc also said I am measuring bigger… don’t know what that means, my due date as already been moved up once. I am praying it is not gestational diabetes. Baby seems fine. She is on the move all the time, and all over the place making it hard to sleep, but she is very gentle.
    Smile

  • Lisa – I’m so sorry to hear how it’s been going.  I know how you feel – you want to enjoy your pregnancy – not be tortured through it.  I had to have the 3-hour glucose test and I hated it.  What we women have to go through!!  Well, take it easy.  We’ll all just have to do without you some so you can get your rest and be with your family.

  • Awww you are so sweet Tracy, you make me feel so loved!

  • I’m been missing you! Can’t really go to the other board much because of my situation and no privacy here.  :lookaround:

  • I’m so sorry you are having such a hard time! It comforts me at times to think this is my last pregnancy as well. (((hugs)))

  • Thank you Marsha. Thanks to you I now know that chicken bone feeling has a name and I can get help for it!  If this is to be my last pregnancy I sure would like to enjoy it. We would welcome more children though if that is God’s will for us, if not I am okay with that too. Can’t be greedy! :)

  • Good to see you back! :sunny: You are on my mind, in my heart and prayers consistently! I’m so sorry your pregnancy is so rough right now. You are a strong woman of God and I just know you will persevere through the incredible blessing in the end!  Can’t wait to finally see pics of that precious little miracle!

Did the kids like the new version of Charlie and the Chocolate factory? My kids love the older version but wasn’t sure how the new one was going to turn out.

  • Thank you all. Sarah, I like the old one better too! The children did like it though.
