I had some major hydrotherapy today! We went to Warm Mineral Springs today, Ponce de Leon’s fabled “Original Fountain of Youth” It was not crowded at all and very relaxing. The boys had fun and I loved it!! I have memories of The Springs as a child. I was 4 the first time and my mother was pregnant with my brother. The last time I was there 20 some years ago the still had the natural mud that you would smear all over yourself. I was really looking forward to that. I thought the boys would love it. Seems they ran out of mud some years ago. Natural resources….. The spring is still fantastic though! I spent several hours out of pain. My swollen ankles, painful pelvis, legs that come out of the joints and heavy belly experienced great relief for the first time in months. We just floated around and enjoyed all the Russians!! Yes Russians the place was full of Russians and Eastern Europeans. We were the only ones NOT speaking Russian, Polish or another Eastern European language. I thoroughly enjoyed it! We had a great lunch in the The Springs Lake Side CafĂ© of Pierogos and cabbage rolls!! I was in heaven! I ordered borsch too, but it was too hot to eat it. By the end of the day Fr. was calling me a Russian old lady and he was ready to start a Russian Church in the area!!! I really did fit in there! LOL! I loved the food and was moving like a Babushka!! If you ever have a chance to go it is quite the experience!!

Ooooh would I have loved to have been there!!! :) Glad you were able to relax some and get some relief for a time!
ryc: Lisa I so know what you mean about having to keep going on for the kiddos. In a sense, I do thank the Lord for my children for that very aspect as I know it’s through the Lord’s blessing of my children that I am able to experience giggles and adventures each day regardless of how I’m feeling. I agree that I don’t know how those without the Lord can muster up the strength and perseverance to go through such trials. Just knowing that my Lord is walking me through this each day keeps the smile on my face and the peace in my heart. I am also so thankful that God has blessed me with such an understanding and compassionate husband!!
I will be keeping you in my prayers as you persevere through your time in Florida. May the Lord grant you strength as you allow your sweet children to experience so many enjoyable adventures! :sunny: You are an awesome mom Lisa and I find it a privilage to be so inspired by your out look on life! (((HUGS!!)))
Awwww thank you Sarah ! I feel the same way about you. :heartbeat:
“I am also so thankful that God has blessed me with such an understanding and compassionate husband!!”
Ditto here and Amen to that!!! My husband is the same way. We are truly blessed Sarah! :sunny: It is the ones that don’t have such husband s, those that suffer alone that my heart breaks for. It is not an easy life. Everyone needs someone to love them. Also when I feel miserable I think of all the children that are living in hospitals day in and day out. I give thanks to God for my healthy childhood! :sunny: May our children be so blessed! :sunny:
I’m so jealous. DD and I are going to a near by city pool. It should be relaxing and relief for my joints but a warm spring sounds divine :sunny:
It sounds like your having a great time. Enjoy the rest of your holiday :fun:
