~A day in the life…~
My husband spent the day with our dear friend, Metropolitan Kallistos and I spent the day at Chuck E. Cheese or as my friend Stephanie calls it- hell. Although, it was a school holiday and the place was packed, it wasn’t that bad. I enjoyed time with 3 of my best friends and 14 of my favorite children.
After Chuck E. Cheese I took my kids to the mall to be fitted for new gym shoes- a twice a year event. Fr’s day was probably much more spiritually refreshing then mine , but I enjoyed our little outing and at least the children have new shoes for the next 6 months. A particularly nice part of the day was watching Maria~Angelica watch the movie Cinderella for the first time. My mother told me, this evening, that when she was a little girl their Presvytera took her to see Cinderella at the movie theater. What a sweet memory and we are making sweet memories too but I am just a wee bit envious of my husband today and tomorrow! Once upon a time I use to have the pleasure of attending lectures given by Met. Kallistos. Awww, sweet memories!

Oh my gosh, that would be tough! I’m jealous, so I can imagine how you must feel.
“Hell” isn’t part of my life since Joshua can’t have wheat. LOL.
{{{hugs}}}
Linda, we go to Chuck E Cheese all the time, and don’t eat. It’s a favorite outing here, so I hesitate to call it “hell”. For a birthday party………..yes, I can see that! Place to spend $5 and have fun…….we love it!
Presvlisa, you are so sweet and so gracious about what has to be somewhat of a disappointment.
Oh, I wished I could go, too. The girls’ godmother gets to go!
It’s so true about our cycles of life, isn’t it?
Metropolitan Kallistos will be in our neck of the woods on March 5th, I’m hoping to go.
