~Well, this just made my whole day!~ 
When I was studying in London I nannied an adorable 2 year old girl. I loved that little girl so much and I have thought about her a lot through the years. I found her on myspace just before Christmas and sent her a message. Here is a portion of a message I received from her today.
“of course i remember you so vividly, you were my favorite of all the nannies i had!”
“ it is strange that of all places you find my account on myspace!!
my mum and i have been living in ireland for the past 11yrs now,she is in england at the moment seeing friends,i just rang her when i got the msg i couldnt believe it! she sends her love to you too! i had a quick look at your xanga account,your children are so cute! the 3 boys are all so alike! you look like you have a very happy family.”
It is great to be in touch with Vita again (she is now living in Dublin) and to get to know her as an adult. Ironically, Vita is now the age I was when I nannied her all those years ago, and yet I am still potty training two year olds.
My London years (all 10 of them) were very fun years. Some days I miss living there; living in London feels like living in the center of the Universe…
I plan to get out my old photo albums and scan some photos of Vita to send her, she was so cute and having my own 2 year old daughter has brought back a lot of good memories of taking care of her. It is hard to believe that 18 years has passed. Right now, when I find a bit of time for the computer and photos, I am working on editing our pictures of Christmas and the Baptisms of Jenny’s sons- I hope to post those soon.
