~LOOKING FOR A BOOK~
Does anyone have this book in their Church bookstore or know where it can be purchased? I believe it is currently out of print. I know of some available in Greek but I have not seen it for sale in English for a few years. Please let me know. I have several friends interested in reading this book and have lent out my copy and it has not been returned. Thank you for your help.

Thanks dipsa but the book is not available through either of those outlets anymore. Try and add it to your cart and see what happends.
Arrrggghh! Sorry! The shopping cart is broke on oramaworld for other stuff, so maybe it will be available soon.
What about Amazon in the UK? http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/9607298853/203-5774573-2899926I tried Amazon UK and was even on an 8-week waiting list with no luck
I think (?) I just ordered a copy from Amazon that will be here in 4-6 weeks? Amazon UK said they would send a confirmation email, but I can’t check that email address from here . . . so maybe it will say, “Sorry, unavailable.”
http://www.toperivoli.gr/pages/en.htm They don’t seem to have a convenient shopping cart, and the site is mostly in Greek. However, they seem to have the English translation.
Hi,
I came across your blog through a webring from a friend of mine…thought this might help:

The website for the Monastery of St. Gregory Palamas shows that they have the book for sale…whether this is current or not, I’m not sure.
Good Luck!
~Laura
Thank you Laura. I have seen it at the monastery in Greek. Thanks again. :sunny:
I have seen that website before – you can’t order the book. You can only leave a comment asking about it. I’ve done that before and never heard back. With Amazon UK I’ve tried to order the book but they say they don’t have it in stock. Man, if we find one of those books we need to make photocopies of it!
Tracy give the monastery a call. If you want I can do it for you, just let me know. Hey maybe that is your next business venture, publishing this book in English!
Well, I could hire you to translate the Greek into English, Tamara can be the editor, Beth could do the marketing and promoting, dipsa or Jane could write the introduction and back cover…and I’ll make most of the money – see how it works? :giggle: If you wouldn’t mind calling the monastery – I don’t think I’m quite ready to talk to a nun
okay i will give them a call in the morning. :sunny:

My husband has been in touch with the monks (not nuns there) at St. Gregory Palamas Monastery, and they told him they could not get it. This was back in December. They may still have Greek copies, I don’t know.
