  • I am fairly certain I can’t read all of that in the next 40 days but I am going to get Fredrica’s book. :)

  •   Beth there is a lifetime of reading there!

I started Kh. Fredrica’s book, I am still on the introduction but I am really appreciating, as usual, her style. She is so gentle and loving and breaks things down into easily digestible information. The theology is all there and the way she explains things makes it so easy to understand and relay to other people.  Last night Fr. C. was in his study organizing his books by author, something he has never had the time to do since we moved into this house six years ago! He  had 6 copies of Fr. Sophrony’s book “His Life is Mine”; I brought a couple into the marriage and so did he. :sunny:

  • Giggling on the book combining.

I was given Kh. Frederica’s book on Sunday, and finished the introduction and the first two readings – I think I’ll do one a day which will take me through Lent.  I agree with you, her writing is a blessing and such a wonderful tone and voice, I could sit and listen to her talk all day.

  • Don’t you just love my dowry?! :p

“I could sit and listen to her talk all day.”

Me too. I love her gentle soft voice and her wit. In the early 90s, when I was commuting back and forth to college, I used to catch her on NPR during my drives.  I would love to have her come speak in our Church.

  • Yes! That would be wonderful!
